Following the success of the Green Mountain Trail, The Blue Mountain Trail was founded in 2015. This slackpacking, multi-day hike covering a 50km route through the UNESCO-declared Biosphere, offers sweeping views of the Overberg coastline, and close-up access to a unique plant life that literally gives the mountain its blue tinge.
